Yoga is ENERGY
For me Yoga means to be connected with your self and with others, your body and soul,
nature and surroundings, to be open minded and not trapped in daily habits. Yoga gives you lots of energy and a positive state of mind. The more you practice, the lighter you feel in a pain free, flexible body with a restored and peaceful mind.
Yoga is a light, once lit, it will never dim. The better you practice, the brighter the light. It unites body, mind and
spirit. Yoga postures (asana’s), breathing (pranayama) and meditation are elements of every yoga class.
Originally from India, Yoga became popular in the West in the late 19th century. There are many different styles
of yoga, each having a different focus in their practice, but all with the same goal: to unite. I teach Hatha, Yin,
Yin/Yang flow and Restorative yoga.
I offer the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training privately and for companies. Mindfulness is a skill acquired by practicing rather than learning with the mind. The basic mindfulness course consists of eight sessions of 2.5 hours, plus one whole day, over a period of eight weeks.
I teach group lessons on different locations as well as private lessons and mindfulness.
